Club History
River City Juniors Volleyball Club was founded in 1990 with the purpose to promote volleyball as a competitive sport for young women in the south Spokane/Ferris High School area. As Spokane's oldest continuously run club, River City Volleyball team positions are open to ALL girls in Spokane and surrounding areas. It is the goal of River City Volleyball to help develop individual volleyball skills and to field strong teams for tournament competition while promoting sportsmanship and fair play.
This USAV organization is a non-profit corporation guided by a Board of Directors. The members of the Board select officers including the President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. All Board members are volunteers that are dedicated to the advancement of the sport of volleyball and the improvement of players' skills.
River City Volleyball has also shown continued support for the Evergreen Region USAV by providing over 1270 team playing opportunities for clubs in our region as well as attracting teams from other USAV regions and Canada. Sponsored tournaments include/included:

Our commitment to volleyball is year-round. When notified, we pass on information about school and summer camps and programs.
Mission Statement
River City Volleyball Club was established to provide a positive volleyball experience for young women in Spokane and the surrounding areas that will nurture the participant's continued enjoyment of the game beyond grade, high school and/or college.
It is with that goal in mind to provide an atmosphere that is both constructive and challenging to:
Develop and master the fundamentals of the game through practice and competition
Foster positive attitudes in teamwork, responsibility and sportsmanship
Prepare athletes for middle and high school teams and assist those athletes interested in pursuing volleyball at the collegiate level
Cultivate self-respect and personal pride
Advance the philosophy of doing one's absolute best and to deal with any outcome with dignity and grace
